Charlotte M’Doe

Head of Marketing at the University of Groningen

Charlotte is Head of Marketing at the University of Groningen where she manages a team overseeing the recruitment of and engagement with international and domestic students across various channels. With over seventeen years of experience in the higher education marketing and recruitment space, she has a focus on data-driven decision making particularly as a way to underpin new market development.

Prior to relocating to the Netherlands from the UK, Charlotte worked in similar roles at various institutions including a London Russell Group university, a pathway provider and a Further Education College. This breadth of experience has provided her with an understanding of sector challenges from various perspectives but also an understanding of how new market development is undertaken and can be adapted depending on the target audience and institution.

Charlotte has a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations (with Japanese) from the University of Reading and an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Liverpool.
